TEAM SPORTS ARE GREAT BECAUSE YOUR
Being a part of a Varsity sport, there’s a lot of pressure to win
especially when you’re around some of the best athletes. Even
though they have the skill, it takes more than just that to win, they
need teamwork. The way to achieve proper teamwork is through off
court bonding.
“It’s important to bond off the court so we form good team
chemistry and we get along better on the court,” explained Elsa
Lamphere (11).
When a team creates a special bond, it is translated to the court.
“When your trying to win and you know that the people around you
support you and know you and when you know and support them
back your just a stronger team,” said Gabrielle Beckman (12).
How you and your team interact with each other is important
because, “it carries out on the court so your bond will affect how well
you guys play with each other,” said Lauren Betts (9).
When they played Cherokee Trail, they had lost the first two
games to the Cougars, but they came back and won the next three
because they worked together as a team and supported each other
till the very last point.
The team’s bond is what sets them apart from other teams.
