PROFILE

Secondary education major, focusing on English Language Arts

EXPERIENCE
Talladega County Schools — January 2018 – February 2019
Substitute Teacher at Munford Middle School working to get comfortable in a classroom
and form relationships with students that calls for respect but is also approachable. This has
served as great practice for me to see what it is really like in a school setting and develop
classroom management skills. While there, I would observe many teachers in their classrooms
and assist them.

Mentor: Mrs. Heather Wright

Ohatchee High School – Spring 2019

During Spring 2019, I completed my 100 hour practicum. During this practicum, I assisted
students and teachers in a school setting. I also taught an activity during my experience there.

Cooperative Teacher: Mrs. Taylor Kilgore

Central Alabama Community College — September 2016-May 2017

I held a work study position while I attended Central Alabama Community College. This
position was created for someone to work with a visually impaired student. I enjoyed working
with him every week in an office environment. For my work study supervisor, I created many
surveys, filed, and organized.
