ACTIVITIES

1. Students are shown pictures of Uhuru Street.


2. Students are asked on the picture.
Instructional Language:
Set induction Based on the short story Leaving, where do you think this
place is? Why do you say so?
1. Students are guided to the plot of the story and its
elements.
2. Students are to form 4 groups and each group will be

3. Students are instructed to rearrange the given
fragments into the correct sequence of the plot
1. Manila cards are to be pasted on different corners of
Activity 2 the class.
2. One representative from each group is to present
what they have done.

1. Students are divided into two groups. One group will


support the statement and the other will oppose it
Activity 3 with a maximum of 3 reasons.
2. Each group are given 3 minutes to discuss the
answers and select a representative.
3. Students are shown a statement ‘Aloo should pursue
his dream and study in America.’
