Q1.Yes, it is. In my country there are several institutions that have similar
courses as I choose such as Institut Teknologi Surabaya, Universitas Bina
Nusantara and Institut Teknologi Bandung. The reason why i chose to
study in Australia is because I want to get more knowledge in the IT field. In
my opinion IT education in Australia has better quality education,
technology more advanced, and giving more specific material will help me
to better understand the IT field more deeply. Another reason is I can have
friends from other countries. I think TAFE NSW is very suitable institution
that can help me to study the IT field in Australia.

Q2.TAFE NSW is one of the largest training sectors in Australia that has
complete programs and skills. I chose TAFE NSW because I am sure that
through this institute I can achieve my goal of becoming a reliable IT expert
and can know more about information technology. TAFE NSW delivers the
courses with practical from beginning. The small class sized in TAFE NSW
also very helping for international student like me to interact with the
lecturers. I will study from Certificate IV in Information Technology
Networking than I will continue to Diploma of Information Technology
Networking and I will finish study in TAFE NSW by completed Advance
Diploma of Information Technology Networking. I want to study in a
campus located close to my family's home in Sydney so that I can easily
reach the campus with a short time. Based on www.tafensw.edu.au, I saw
qualifications in information technology can lead to a job as an IT manager,
computer engineer, systems administrator or a network support technician.
Because of that, I think TAFE NSW can make my dream to be a manager
of IT comes true.

Q2. I do know that TAFE NSW is one of the largest training sectors in
Australia that has complete programs and skills. However, I chose TAFE
NSW not only for that reason. After doing some comparison from TAFE
NSW to other institutions such as UTS: Insearch, I found that TAFE has
advanced diploma courses for IT which I prefer rather than only getting
Diploma Certificate. Based on my research from
www.tafensw.edu.au/international, I saw qualifications in Information
Technology can lead to a job as an ICT Security Specialist, IT Security
Analyst, E-security Specialist. Since my dream is to become an
independent IT Specialist, I realised that TAFE IT program is more
specified in this area through Advanced Diploma of Information Technology
(Network Security) course. Therefore, I plan to study from Certificate IV in
Information Technology Networking, then I will continue to Diploma of
Information Technology Networking, and I will finish the course by
completing the Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Network
Security) course. I am sure that through these courses at TAFE NSW I can
achieve my goal on becoming a good and reliable IT Specialist. This is
because TAFE NSW not only deliver courses that focus on the theory but
also deliver courses with practical from the beginning. Hence, this method
could prepare me better for the work life after I graduate from TAFE NSW.
Other reason that I am choosing the city campus at TAFE NSW is because
the location is more strategic. I have my relatives live in Sydney, so it will
be easier for me to access the campus using public transport like buses
and train. It will be more cost friendly for me too.

Q3. I was having a career in the computer field as a marketing officer at

Raja Computer Shop in my city for 2 years. Since then, I have an interest in
IT technology and then I decided to explore my IT knowledge and choose
the country of Australia as a place to hone my IT knowledge through TAFE
NSW. Since IT industry is the hottest industry right now, I plan to work in an
IT company in my country after I finish study in TAFE NSW. My dream is I
want to be an IT Manager.

officer at Raja Computer Shop in my city for 2 years. Since then, I become
fond of IT technology and then decided to explore my IT knowledge. I
realised that the IT industry has become one of the hottest industries right
now, which make me more interested in IT and make me wants to become
a successful independent IT Specialist in the future. In Indonesia an
independent IT Specialist is a job that is still considered in high demand by
companies. I see this as an opportunity for me to get better job in IT

Q4. After I finish my school in Australia and return to my country again, I

will look for companies that are engaged in the field of information
technology and my goals include PT. Microsoft Indonesia and PT
Telkomsel Indonesia. I hope that the education that I will get from Australia
can be useful not only for me but also for my country. To work with PT.
Microsoft Indonesia and PT. Telkomsel Indonesia I expect my salary
around Rp. 11,500,000 - Rp. 17,000,000 per month.
