Marine ecosystems

Information
The ocean is split into three vertical zones. Starting from
the top of the ocean which is called the euphoric zone. The
second layer down is called the disphotic zone. And the last
layer, very deep in the ocean is called the aphotic zone.
There are many biotic and abiotic factors. This ecosystem
has a big impact on our weather. It provides rain, and wind.

Biotic factors
● Plants
● Animals
● Fungi
● Algae
● Bacteria
Producers
● Phytoplankton- produce oxygen and food. They are the most
common producer in the biome. They are little microscopic
organisms the float around in the ocean.

● Jellyfish

● Sharks
● Dolphins
