    The Coast Guard has established river restrictions for Thunder Over Louisville 2019, including a minimal wake zone from mile markers 597 to 602.7 and a no entry zone from 602.7 to 607 on April 12th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and April 13th from 12:00 PM to midnight. All spectator boats must stay away from the no entry zone and anchoring is only permitted in the designated green zone, not in the navigable channel or between the Big Four Bridge and Towhead Island.

    Thunder Over Louisville 2019 River Restrictions

    Restriction Details: The Coast Guard has established a special local regulation from mile markers 597 to 607 on the Ohio River from April
    12th (11:00 AM - 6:00 PM) and on April 13th (12:00 PM until midnight). During these times, a minimal wake zone will be in effect from mile
    markers 597 to 602.7 and a no entry zone will be in effect from 602.7 to 607 (red zone indicated above from the McAlpine Lock and Dam to
    200 yards up river of the Big Four Railroad Bridge). All spectator boats shall stay away from the no entry zone.

    Navigable Channel: The navigable channel is designated as the zone between the Kentucky shoreline and the center of the river.

    Anchorage: Anchoring is only permitted within the green zone indicated above. No vessels may anchor or loiter in the channel or between the
    Big Four Bridge and Towhead Island.
