Pupils able to take part in the discussion with teacher. They separated the text according to the categories
given. Teacher changed the category from main idea to topic sentence to enhanced students’ knowledge and
idea. The group work did not carried out in small group of 5 before the class ended.

Pupils are responding to the topic actively. They have prior knowledge towards the issue of the dirty beaches
around Malaysia. Unfortunately some of the kids never saw a dirty beach as they rarely go to this place. The
video could not be played as the lesson took place in their class only.

There is one problem that most pupils in this school encounter, NO DICTIONARY. They rely fully the
dictionary from our school library but it’s not enough and not very practical for pupils to learn the meaning
in English. Pupils are still dependent when it comes to reading comprehension. Thus, most of the answers
from the comprehension questions are guided by teacher.

As usual, there is 1 group in this class are slower than the others when speaking confidently. This is not a
problem for me, but it became one when they did not want to try even a little. This should be monitored not only
by teacher in class but from their parents. Nevertheless, they still can understand the proper adjective describing
the text.
