Voyager of the Seas is the lead ship of the Voyager-class of cruise ships operated by
Royal Caribbean International (RCI). The International Cruise Familiarization & Learning
Program is a five days and four nights cruising to Singapore, Port Klang (KL) Malaysia,
Phuket Thailand and back to Singapore again. The first activity that we do on the cruise
is the Mandatory Emergency Drill all of us required to participate for our safety while on
board. It is very important because it helps prepare guests/ employees to respond
quickly and safety. After that we had our group assembly at Alaska Conference Room
for the Welcome Briefing of Mr. Eric our Group Coordinator and orientation to student
program.

On the 2nd day we arrived at Pork Klang, Malaysia and have a Shore Excursion in Kuala
Lumpur then by 2:00 pm we back onboard and have a PM Snacks. After that we have a
Assembly at Alaska Conference Room for the Seminar with Guest Services Manager,
Cruise Entertainment Office ,F and B Director and Tour Assistant on board Ms Tiffany.
And Shipboard Training with our Tour Guide Ms. Tingting. She tour us on the different
facilities on the cruise ship.

On the 3rd day, we have a breakfast at Main Dining and after that we went back to our
staterooms for Housekeeping Demonstration (Bed-Making demo). Our Housekeeper is
Mr. Shaun from China he demonstrate to us how to make a bed making and his
experience on board. After the demonstration we went to main dining for our Galley
tour at Voyager of the seas kitchen. After the tour we had our shore excursion at
Phuket, Thailand from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm then we had our dinner at Main dining.

On the 4th day, we assemble at Sapphire Main dining for the Table set-up
demonstration. Our waiter is a Filipino, he works on the board 13 years he demonstrate
to us the different table set up such as the breakfast set up, lunch and dinner. And also
the cutleries and glass wares . We learned so much on our Waiter, all about his
experience. On the afternoon we had assembly at Alaska Conference room for the
closing program for awarding of certificates with the Filipino Restaurant Manager
onboard he taught us to work harder to become successful on our future and be
thankful to our parents that we experience the life onboard.

On the 5th day, our last day we assemble at La Scala Theater for disembark/ collect
luggage at cruise terminal the we had a City tour at Singapore and lunch at Joe’s
Kitchen. In the evening we arrived in the Philippines.

After the Cruise Familiarization & Learning Program for 5 days. I could say it was really
such a great adventure, It was really a great experience for me and i would treasure it.
I’ve learned that the communication to others and teamwork is the best thing because
we cannot make things successful by relying only to ourselves ,and that's a really great
lesson that I’ve learned.
