Marketing Plan 101 - Store Research

This is just a quick plan to figure out some traffic sources, it doesn’t need to be
super detailed!
You just need to write down some audience sizes like I’ve done in the example,
so you know you will be able to get traffic before you start your store �

Write down Instagram Influencers you can contact in your niche:

e.g. veganlovers – follower size 200k

Use Google keyword planner and type in some products in your niche
e.g. hiking shoes – 20,000 monthly searches

Go on Facebook and type in targeting options

e.g 10 bodybuilding magazines – audience size of 10 million
e.g. bodybuilding interest has audience size of 30 million

Facebook Groups
e.g. 20 groups in my niche on Facebook with a total of around 200k members

Magazines and Forums

e.g. Fitness Magazine, Bodybuilding.com magazine, Weight lifting UK forum
(these can often be targeted using Facebook interest targeting)

Reddit
e.g. 3 subreddits in my niche – fitness, bodybuilding weight lifting, total of 300k
members
