FLYSCH TRAIL 2019 REGULATIONS

1.- DATE AND PLACE.

The mountain trial called "Zumaiako XI Flysch Trail Mendi Maratoia," will be held on
June 23, 2019. Departures will be from Eusebio Gurrutxaga Square.
08:30 h Marathon, 6th round and last round of the Spanish Cup of FEDME online races
and scoring for the Sky Runner National Series Champion Ship. 42.2 km
08:30 h 31.2 kms. , 6th test and last test of the Spanish Cup of online races FEDME
PROMESAS.
09:00 Championship of the 7 Probintziak of Euskal Herria and FEDME for cadets of
14,05 km
09:15 h. the popular half marathon and Junior FEDME of 22.2 kms.
09:20 Blind Spanish Cup on the same route as the half marathon.

2.- ROUTE.

The absolute test takes place by reserving the Flysch biotope with a distance of 42,230
km, with a positive height difference of 2,250 m and a maximum height of 613 m.
The test of 31.2 km. of promises goes through the same route but returns to Zumaia in
Mendata at km.12, without climbing Andutz. Positive slope 1,500 mt. Maximum height
223 mts.
The tests of the Juniors, Popular and Blind categories take place through the reservation
of the Flysch biotope with a route of 22.2 km, with a positive slope of 850 m. and a
maximum height of 210 m.
The test of the cadet category takes place through the reserve of the Flysch biotope with
a route of 14.05 km, with a positive height difference of 425 m. and a maximum height
of 210 m.

3.- CATEGORIES.

14,05 KMS.
* Cadets:
- Male: 15-16-17 years
- Female: 15-16-17 years.

22.2 KMS.
* Junior:
- Male: 18-19-20 years.
- Female: 18-19-20 years.

* Popular :
- Male: + 18 years.
- Female: + 18 years.

Spain Cup for the Blind: Prizes for the first three classified, in male and female
category.

31.2 KMS.
- promise category:
Male: 21-22-23 years.
Female: 21-22-23 years.

42,230 KMS.
* Absolut Category: All athletes over 18 years old can participate. The subcategory are
the following:

- Sub category veterans A:


Male: 40-50 years
Female: 40-50 years.

- Sub category veterans B:


Male: + 51 years
Female: + 51 years old.

The age of the athlete will be taken into account on December 31, 2019.

4.- REGISTRATIONS.

* Federated: Cadet - ½ marathon: € 30 Marathon and Promise: € 42


* Non-federated: Cadet- ½ marathon: € 35. Marathon and Promise: € 50.
* Registration period: May 6 to June 19.
* The FEDME autonomic selectors will send the organization the inscriptions of the
athletes of the different categories in the following period: 04/01/2019 to 04/30/2019.
Upon payment, the organization will register runners in the race. Those who do not
meet these requirements will NOT be enrolled in the Flysch test
* From May 6 to June 19, you can register on the Internet www.herrikrosa.eus, all those
runners interested in running the different tests of Flysch.

If a runner @ for problems of participation in the race wants to unsubscribe, call or send
an email and the money will be returned. The runner @ will be charged € 6 for
management expenses.

5.- SECURITY.

The organization has an insurance of Civil Liability and Accident. There will be
assistance service from the DYA or Red Cross.
The organization recommends that participants undergo a medical examination prior to
the test, with all participants accepting the risk derived from the sporting activity.
6.- SIGNAGE.

The route and the kilometers will be duly marked with visible signs.

7.- CONTROLS.

The organization will establish control points, being obligatory to pass through them,
where the regulatory step controls will be carried out.

8.- COMPULSORY REMOVAL POINTS.

3 step limit times and mandatory withdrawal points are established in the course. After
these times, the runner will be automatically withdrawn, having to abandon the race. In
case of not accepting the withdrawal, the organization declines all responsibility. A car
from the organization will move them to the finish line.
- In Azti (one way) (14.1 km.) Time limit: 2 hours.
- In Azti (back) (24.9 km.) Time limit: 4 hours.
- In Elorriaga (back) (34.5 km.) Time limit: 5 h. 25'
- In San Telmo (return) (40km.) Time limit: 6 hours.
At 12:00 and 15:00 the arrival controls of the juniors / popular and absolute are closed
and the races are finished.

9.- PROVISIONING.

- Absolute race - marathon: There will be 11 refreshment points plus the finish line:
(5,1- 8,7- 11,9- 14,1 - 19,1- 23- 24,9- 29- 31- 34,5 and 40 km).
-Promise: 7 refreshments plus goal. (5.1- 8.7- 11.9- 14.8- 16.2- 18.2- 20 and 29).
- Race junior, popular, blind - half marathon: There will be 6 refreshment points plus
the goal: (5,1 – 8,7 – 11,3- 12,3- 14,4 and 20 km.)
- Cadets 3 points ( 5,1 – 6,8 and 12,03)
At these points, participants will be offered refreshments and energy products.

10.- CLASSIFICATION.

The timing of the race will be carried out according to the regulations of the FEDME
and the participants will have 30 minutes from the publication of the classifications for
any claim, from which the results will be made official.

The prizes can be cumulative, that is, the athletes will receive a prize, depending on
their position in the absolute category and their corresponding category.
12.- DELIVERY OF DORSALES.

The numbers will be distributed at the Lubaki sports center. On the eve of 5:00 - 8:00
p.m. The same day from 7:00 - 8:15. No one, even with written authorization, may pick
up the number of another runner. For ALL dorsal deliveries it will be IMPERATIVE to
present the identity card

13.- DORSAL CONTROL AND SUPERVISION AND CONTROL OF


MATERIAL.

In the marathon, 07:50 hours: opening of the starting box. By 08:15 it is mandatory that
all runners are in the starting box.
Cadets 8:40, Half Marathon 9:00 and Blind 9:15.
Before starting the test, the organization will supervise the following material: footwear,
bib, clothing and material required by the organization, the Federation and the FEDME
regulation.
The organization reserves the right to punish any runner who does not comply with the
schedule.

14.- ENVIRONMENT.

The race takes place for the most part through the protected biotope of Zumaia-Deba. It
will be everyone's obligation to preserve the environment avoiding littering outside the
control areas. For this purpose, garbage containers will be placed at 25 and 50 meters
from the refreshment stations.
Failure to comply with this elementary rule by brokers will be grounds for
disqualification.

15.- SET AND SHOWERS.

There will be a left-luggage service and showers at the Lubaki sports center, located 400
meters from the finish line. In goal, there will also be a left-luggage service.
16.- INFORMATIVE MEETING.

The evening before the start of the test at 7:00 p.m. at the Aita Mari cinema, the
organization will hold an informative meeting in which the participants will be
informed of all the details of the race.

17.- SECURITY OF THE ROUTE.

The organization reserves the right to divert the race for an alternative route and make
the modifications it deems appropriate depending on the different conditions, such as
the suspension of the test if the weather conditions force it by force majeure, always
after agreement of the Committee of Career.

18.- AUXILIUM IN ACCIDENTS.


The participants are obliged to assist the victims who need help, as well as to report any
mishap in the controls of passage.

19.- RESPONSIBILITY.

The organization will be responsible for the accident that is registered within the circuit,
but declines all responsibility in case of accident due to the corridor's negligence, as
well as the objects of each participant, because for this purpose it will be available at the
finish line and at the sports center. a service of slogan.
The participants will be responsible for any damage they may cause to themselves and
to third parties.

21.- APPROVAL OF THE REGULATIONS.

All participants, by taking part, accept this regulation. Everything not planned will be
studied in the regulations of the FEDME.
