To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this reference at the request of Makayla Cecil, who is becoming a business completer this
year. I have known Makayla for two years in my capacity as a teacher at Nitro High School. Makayla
took Digital I and Desktop and Publishing from me and earned superior grades in those classes. Based
on Makayla’s grades, attendance, and class participation, I’d rate his academic performance in my
class as exceptional.

Makayla has a number of strengths to offer an employer. She is always interested in helping others. For
example, she has helped us make t-shirts, stickers, and posters for other schools in our area. Makayla is
also a very fast learner. She has learned how use some of the equipment in our simulated workplace
classroom. She is a great addition and helps out a lot.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Makayla Cecil. If her performance in my class is any
indication of how she’d perform in the available position, Makayla will be an extremely positive
