Code of Ethics

Students shall adhere to Shakti Yoga code of conduct at all times:

1- Please make sure you are clean when attending a yoga class.Wear loose yoga clothes in yoga
classes, in which you can move easily.

2- SY advises not to eat later than two hours before starting a yoga class and, in any case, not to
practice yoga on a full stomach.

3- It is not allowed to wear shoes in the yoga studio.

4- SY provides yoga mats for use during yoga classes. After classes, a yoga mat must always put
away by the Student who has used it.

5- To allow everybody to find perfect inner peace, Students are requested not to talk in the yoga
studio before, during and after the yoga class.

6- Physical and mental integrity of Students must always be respected. Sexual behaviour or
sexually suggestive behaviour is not tolerated by SY.

7- Students must respect other people's belongings.

8- The teacher must hand in a form for the student to fill in before enrolling in a yoga class, so that
the teacher is aware of student's limitations and/or physical conditions.

9- Students must abide to payment rules provided by the school.

10- Students can arrive to class maximum ten minutes late. Classes start and finish in the
estipulated time.
