History

Barangay Goma was founded before World War II and originally a part of barangay Digos, Sta. Cruz early in 1949,this sitio was transformed into a
barangay and assumed the name Goma after the junk tire led by the Japanese soldier in the place after world war ii. Bagobo’s were the first settlers in
barangay goma in the year 1900 and followed by significant number of cebuanos who has a considerable influence in the place, they led together with the
bagobo’s submitted a resolution for the formulation of “FFF” Free Farmers Federation led by Domingo Alferez petition a portion of Esguerra cattle ranch
for the barrio site. The place was name Goma because it was place were rubber tire of Japanese soldiers were junk. Goma was declared one of the barangay

The steadfast of Barangay Development Plan (BDP) duly implement among our society . The challenges that we encounter in the performance of our

Introduction
Goma Barangay road. Goma is the bounded in the NorthWest by barangay kapatagan,in the northwest by sitio Balutakay. In the west by Barangay Balabag in
the East by barangay Binaton and in the Southeast by Barangay Dulangan and in the southern part by Barangay Ruparan. The Balutakay river lies between
Barangay Goma and Barangay Balabag and this serves as their territorial boundary. There is still another river that lies on the Goma between bBarangay
Binaton and Dulangan. Another river named Napan travereses along the center at the part of barangay area which bounded Sitio Napan and Goma Barangay
proper.

6 to 14 years old who are not attending formal school; and family members 15 to 24 years old who are currently out of school, not
gainfully employed, and have not finished college or post-secondary course.
Drug use can lead to lowered productivity due to occupational diseases and injuries, higher health care costs, spread of infectious
diseases, and family breakdown,because of illegal drugs.
Inadequate availability of health care vary from country to country and include political, financial, and physical barriers, especially the lack of an
adequate infrastructure to deliver the benefits of drugs. The barriers are such that they can be addressed only through concerted action by national
governments, bilateral donors, and multilateral agencies, together with the private sector and non-governmental organisations.
Children suffering from under-nutrition or stunting have increased risk of contracting diseases like acute diarrheal syndrome, acute
respiratory infection and anemia, and those with severe under-nutrition are more likely to die from illnesses caused by complications.
Children who are stunted in the first two years of life are also more likely to repeat grades, delay school entry or drop out of school.
