PG dated 20.10.2016, for preparation of “Power Transformer Standardization Manual Standardization of Transformer and Reactors shall help in reducing manufacturing time, facilitate intorchangeability and help in avoiding repetition of various tyre tests and short cireuit tests As per the Terms of Reference of the Committee and deliberations during various ‘meetings of the Committee, the losses are required to be standardized for various ratings of Transformers and Reactors. In this regard, a meeting was held on 25.02.2019 and 26.02.2019 with participation from CEA, PGCIL, NTPC, NHPC, IEEMA and various major Transformer manufacturers; and after deliberations, lasses for various ratings of ‘Transformers and Reactors wore fixed.
