ORDER:

In the G.O., 1st read above, the Government has introduced the New Sand
Mining Policy, 2014 for the State of Telangana. In the G.O., 2nd read above, the
Government has formulated and issued the Telangana State Sand Mining Rules,
2015 to regulate the mining and transportation of sand in the State of Telangana
and for the purposes connected therewith. As per Rule No.10 (ii) of Said Rules the
sand sale price per Cu.M./Ton shall be determined by the respective District Level
Sand Committee keeping in view of the prevailing cost of production and logistics
therein and submit to the Government for approval.

2. In the reference 3rd read above, the VC&MD, M/s Telangana State Mineral
Development Corporation Limited has submitted the base cost of the Sand
extraction at Ex-Stockyards in various Sand reaches.

3. In the reference 4th read above, the Director of Mines and Geology,
Hyderabad has submitted a report proposing to fix sale price of sand at ex-
stockyard in the range between 500 to 600 per Cubic meter and requested the
Government to fix a ceiling per cubic meter/ton. Further, M/s. Telangana State
Mineral Development Corporation Limited in consultation with the District Level
Sand Committees and basing on the Grade of the Sand shall finalize the sale price
at ex-stockyard below the ceiling fixed by the Government.

4. Government, after careful examination of matter, hereby authorize the Vice

Chairman and Managing Director, M/s.Telangana State Mineral Development
Corporation Limited for fixing of sale price of sand in various Districts with a
maximum ceiling of Rs.600/- per Cu M, Ex-Stockyard for the present, based on the
recommendations of DLSC of the respective Districts. The actual price may vary
according to distance of transportation and grade of Sand.

5. The Vice Chairman and Managing Director, M/s.Telangana State Mineral

Development Corporation Limited shall take necessary further action accordingly
and display the same in Web Portal.
