Part A : General : To be completed by newly joined seafarers prior to vessel sailing from the port of embarkation and prior to being assigned shipboard duties

The on-signer must be shown all lifeboat and liferaft locations and Muster Point - in the case
3 Location Lifeboats & Liferafts / Muster Point of freefall lifeboats, this is to include how to safely enter the boat, allocated seating position
and how to fasten safety harness, belts etc.
The on-signer is to be shown the routes from his assigned cabin to the Muster Point including

5 Escape Routes from Engine Room All on-signers are to be shown the points of exit from the Engine Room.
