Play is scheduled to begin this year on Thursday, April 25th at Foxfire Golf Club with a scrimmage day planned for
the week before on April 18th, 2019. Pay the course $15 (green fees) directly if you participate in the scrimmage day.

The earlier than usual start is due to the July 4 holiday being on a Thursday this year and our need to allow for any
weather cancellations during the season.
This year’s format will consist of two halves (each eight weeks long) utilizing match play by two-man teams. Partners
may be changed between halves and members may either choose their own partner or work with the league secretary
to have one assigned, if available. In addition a mid-season cookout, and final 18 hole tournament & banquet will also
be scheduled. Please contact Bob Feak (458-4593 (h) or 345-7765 (c)) or Charlie Kincaid (255-3732 (h) or 663-
1713 (w)) and let them know whether or not you’ll be playing as well as your partner’s name or if your need for one.

address, and your partners name, or if you need one, and return it to Bob Feak by e-mail or snail-mail.
Tom Sperrazza, our greatest treasurer ever despite the Mueller witch hunt, must collect dues on or prior to the start
of play on April 25th. Dues this season will be $160 per half, $320 for the season if payed on or before the start of
play. Late payers will pay $165 per half. Payment for the end-of-season tournament is due 2 weeks prior to the
tournament. Payments can be made to Tom in person at the course, or you can mail payment directly to him. His
home address is 43 Meadowbrook Lane, Central Square, NY 13036. Make checks payable to NYSDOT Men’s Golf
League, and PLEASE pay your dues promptly! It’d be really fantastic, really huge!

SKIN GAMES – John Fietze will be running two skins games each week, both scratch and
handicapped. Players may participate in either one or both games. The cost will be $10 per half for
each game payable before the start of each half - NO EXCEPTIONS! You must sign up on the sign-
up sheet, which will be posted on the course bulletin board, or call:
REMEMBER TO SIGN-UP AND PAY YOUR $10 BEFORE YOUR FIRST MATCH !
$1.25 of the $10 will be used each week for SKINS MONEY. If there are no winner(s) any week the money will be
carried over to the following week. All payoffs will be made the next week after play. Skin winners will be posted
with team standings and all disputes should be brought to the attention of one of the two members noted above,
prior to the next match. Substitutes are not eligible, so before signing up you may want to consider how many times
you will be using a substitute. Monies are not refundable for any reason; however, if less than ten players sign-up
for a skin game, the game will be canceled and monies collected refunded.
