Training and development is an integral part of any organization. It provides the base for growth
and development of employee and overall development of organization. The project
Effectiveness of training and development is undertaken at Lear Automotive.

Lear is one of the only seat manufacturers that can execute seat programs and all related
components worldwide. Whether it is as in-depth as matching the proper lightweight frame,
leather finish, pattern and grain with a vehicle segment and platform, or as simple as stitching
detail, piping, seams and thread color, nobody has more experience, or offers higher-quality
craftsmanship in the area of seat trim as Lear.

Objective of research is to find the effectiveness of training and development at Lear Automotive
India Pvt. Ltd. and to know about employee response and attitude Non-Probability (Judgmental
sampling)

According, to study which researcher have conducted that the overall satisfactions level of
employees in relation to the training program is moderate. The employees (staff) agree that the
training program helps them in their work or job role and helps to increase productivity and
achieve the goal of the organizations.

In MBA project, researcher had studied about Training and development. In this study researcher
gain some practical knowledge and learned how training need identification is done.
Then researcher got to learn Training effectiveness is basically to study the effectiveness of the
training in the organization .Here I observed that the different levels of training is being provided
to the different types of people in the organization .

There are various departments in the company like human resource department ,information
technology ,mechanical , boiler ,finance etc.
