Dear Music Parents/Guardians,

A few fundraising items I would like to pass on info to make sure it is all reaching home.
Cookie dough is scheduled to arrive this Thursday, April 18th. Typically it arrives around 11am,
but I won’t have an approximate time until the day before. I will message on Remind, Facebook
and put a call out to students when the cookies arrive. Remember the dough arrives frozen and
will need to be picked up no later than 4pm on Thursday.
Monday, April 30th we will do a group bottle drive. If you can organize the addresses of
people we could pick up from or bring your bottles in to the carpentry shop starting at 4:45pm.
We will need student volunteers to sort as well as volunteers to drive and pick up bottles as well.
If you would prefer you could drop your own collection off at SARCAN using the Drop-Off
system. Simply enter AE Peacock Music and we will receive a cheque for your donation. Only
students that volunteer time to help sort or collect bottles will share the profits from this
fundraiser.
Thursday, May 2nd will be our Rib and Caeser Night at Bugsy’s. Tickets will be
available to pick up from Mr. Church on Tuesday. Tickets are $20 and the profit is $12 (again
directed to the student that sold the ticket). Families with young children are not able to eat in
Bugsy’s, but can call ahead to Smitty’s and reserve a table to take part. Please be careful not to
loose any tickets. Cheques for tickets can be made out to Peacock Collegiate and dropped off in
the main office or to Mr. Church
A tour itinerary will be released at the end of this week. It is going to be a very exciting
trip! Looking forward to this event with all our music students together. Congrats on a great
festival to all our ensembles, but also to the many that competed as soloists, duets and small
ensembles!

Thank you,

Cameron Church
