THE BOXING IN MEXICO (DEPORTE)

Mexico is and remains outstanding in the sport of boxing, is recognized worldwide because is the
home of the best boxers in the world like: Raúl Macías, Ruben Olivares, Salvador Sanchez, Carlos
Zárate, Oscar de la Hoya, and Julio Cesar Chavez among others. Julio Cesar Chavez was the bigger
champion of México he’s actually in the top 10 of the best boxers in the history, he won 3
championship in 3 different categories (Super Featherweight, Lightweight, and Super Lightweight)
with 107 victories 86 by Knockout in 25 years of professional career. He was included in the hall of
fame international of boxing in 2011.

At present the new generation continue standing out for his peculiar style called “estilo
mexicano”, a style about exchange a lot of punches with the opponent. That style has developed
for centuries. The most popular boxer at the present is Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez, he is currently active
and continuous being a world champion in 4 different organization of professional boxing (WBC,
WBA, WBO and the Ring) in 2 different categories (Super welterweight and Middleweight). He is
making history in this sport with only 28 years old.

Mexico continues being one of the most insecure countries of the world, it’s because that the
boxing continuous helping to the new generations to leaving the drugs and the gang. And to that
they continue developing discipline and a great professional career.

STEVE JOBS

Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, is a living legend of Silicon Valley; he is the visionary behind
the revolutionary inventions such as the Macintosh computer, iPod, iPhone and iPad. Born on
February 24, 1955 in San Francisco from a single mother and adopted by a couple with just a week
to live, Jobs grew up in the city that would one day become the most important technology center.
Jobs was 21 years old and engineer Steve Wozniak was 26 when they founded Apple Computer in
his garage in 1976. Under the direction of Jobs, the company introduced its first Apple computers
and then the Macintosh, which became very popular in the 1980s. After an internal power
struggle, Jobs left Apple in 1985 and started the company NeXT Computer, specialized in
sophisticated work terminals for companies. In the year 1986 he co-founded Pixar, which has won
several Academy Awards, for producing such blockbuster films as "Toy Story" and "Finding Nemo".
Apple declined after the departure of Jobs, and after some negotiations Steve returned in 1996,
when the company bought NeXT for 429 million dollars and Jobs once again promoted to the
Presidency. Since then, it has been strengthened more and more, reforming the Macintosh line
and launching the iPod digital music player at the beginning of the year 2001. After being detected
cancer, Steve underwent a pancreas surgery in 2004 to return three years later with the incredible
series of iPhone smartphones. Steve left again for medical leave in January 2009, but returned to
work in June of that same year, after undergoing a liver transplant. In January 2010, he unveiled
the iPad, which went on sale in April and became the reference in standards for touch screen
tablets. In March of this year, and despite his delicate state of health, Steve reappeared to present
the iPad 2, a version superior to its predecessor. After a successful career, Steve Jobs, said
goodbye to the company that saw the birth and growth, Apple, to make way for the Tim Cook era,
and undertake new challenges that will surely bring more than one surprise.
