LESSON PLAN HLTH 1202

LESSON ORGANISATION (based on: AC:HLTH)

Intention: By the end of this lesson, students should be able to:


- Demonstrate at least 5 gymnastic skills whilst using a rhythmic gymnastics aide
- Recall at least one difference between rhythmic and artistic gymnastics during a class lesson
- Understand and show how to use equipment safely at all times to prevent injury
Pre-lesson organisation:
- Check the weather
- Check safety of location (bees/ants/accessibility)
- Bring out equipment and first aid
- Pre-set up circuit
Equipment: (Based on 32 Students)
- Speakers
- iPhone
- 32x dots
- 4x cones
- 6x blue mats
- 3x green mats
- 5-10x dodgeballs
- 5-10x sipping ropes
- 5-10x ribbons

 Number students off 1 and 2 and get 1’s to line up behind one line and 2’s to line up behind another

 Number students 1 – 4 and get them to stand on a mat
