Download all Bank Statements Pertaining to the Recos Handled by you
Update the Balances correctly in the Client Balance File

Check Pending Entries in MKT (If entries available in BO)
Prioritise cheque returns

If Entries pending, request for cheque scan from Bank

Once cheque scan received, match the name of client with name on cheque scan.
-If names match, give cheque scan for A/c Mapping
-If they don't match, refund the same after consulting a senior
- Also get in touch with the client to avoid any dispute later on

Entry Updation
- Check the party ledger to be sure entry has not been passed for the same transaction earlier
- If Client not active in the segment in which fund received, pass entry in the respective control/suspense GL and ask JV Team t
give credit in the segment in which client is active
- Be sure to lock the transaction once entry is passed
NON CMS

Virtual Entries
- Check for pending online entries
- If entries missing in BO - coordinate with Payin Team for passing those entries

Run Re
Run Reco Report for the previous date on a daily basis
Provide Fund Transfer Transactions to Funding Team regularly (Preferably alternate days)
Check for differences, if any
Solve the difference with the help of Checklist Report
Once differences are solved and reco is tallied identify pending reversals (Open Entries beyond T+4 days) if any missed by the n

Precautions while reversing entries


- Check for any reversals already done which are pending to be locked manually
- Check the CMS File/Liquidation file thoroughly
- Go through the party ledger to get a clear picture before reversing
In case of pending NBFC Entries in the tallied reco Report, reverse the same
Always lock reversals on current date

Reo Repo
Update Reco Report on Daily basis for the previous date in the designated File Provided

Back Up
Following activities to be prioritised while doing Back Up Activities
Client Balance File Updation
Cheque Return Entries pending in MKT
Reversals, if any
Pending Entries in MKT (pending more than 4 days) (CMS + Non CMS)
NBFC Reversals
Implications of Missing the activities
Update Bank Balances
Report has to be sent to Management on a Daily Basis
This report also goes for Audit purposes and hence cannot be taken lightly

Clear MKT
Entries Pending after the Margin Reporting date can't be passed once margin reporting is done
If only credit entry is passed and no cheque entry is passed in ledger, client can take advantage of the same

Don't pass the entries only on the basis of Liquidation files as the files can be faulty at times

Ensure Account Mapping is done as cheques from third party accounts can't be accepted

- Ensure no double entry is made in client ledger


- Reco to be done immediately to avaoid reversals by the night team

Run Reco Report


Keep a track of daily Reco so that no issue is realised on a later date
Ensure to do this so that it doesn't create a havoc during the end of the month
