Man Power

 For furnace F20K recoil, manpower peaked at 60 (30 + 30) for day shift and 20 (18+2) for night
shift during coil launching and welding period.
 After this two major activity, manpower will be decreased to 50 (30 Maint + 20 FL) for day shift
and night shift will be cancelled due to no work front for UTOC.
 We UTOC were to push all activity on day shift in meeting, as night shift will be having higher
cost due to the furnace recoil is a lump sum job.

2. Safety

 New Shell procedure on MMVF (Man Made Vitreous Fibre)


 MMVF found in rock wool, insulation material and ceramic bricks (RCF – Refractory Ceramic
Fibre)
 On field, jobs to be classify into RESTRICTED & INCIDENTAL work.
 Restricted – To worn full PPE ( Coveralls, Face Mask, and Basic PPE)
 Incidental – Coveralls, Face Mask to be excluded, but potential to become Restricted.

3. Progress

 First week – Radiant Coil and Y Piece launching and welding.


 Second week – Counter weight install, Arch Roof Install.
 This week – Vendor balancing for Coils, Welding to be continued right after.
 Tentatively, Furnace main scope will be completed within April.
 Target overall furnace job completion on 1st week of May. (Despade and Maint)
