MAP FUN RUN 2019

This year’s MAP Fun Run will be the Counties & County Seats (Courthouses) in IL.
There are 102 Counties with a courthouse in each County Seat. Ride to each
County Seat; take a picture with you in the foreground and the courthouse in the
background. Each visit to each court house will be worth 1 card draw in a poker
hand. Carry with you MAP Tri-folds to hand out to bystanders and inform them of
Motorist Awareness. These brochures (MAP trifolds) can be ordered from the
GWRRA (1-800-843-9460. Go to GWRRA web site, then to Rider Ed, scroll down to
Motorist Awareness, click on this tap and scroll to the trifold. There are 3
different trifolds. Call the home office and order them. You can order individually
or have one person (chapter director) order a large quantity and divi them up.
After visiting the courthouse, take your picture and submit on District website.
You can submit I picture per group, just list all GWRRA members present. One of
the purposes is to share with the public about Motorist Awareness. Who knows,
you might find a prospective recruit to join the GWRRA. Lets’ all get out and ride,
participate, participate, participate and have FUN. Join other chapters and ride
together. These courthouses are beautiful and filled with history. Enjoy the ride.

This Fun run will go from April 1st thru Oct 31st. Prior to turning in your tally
sheets, draw your poker hands at your chapter gathering or chapter event and
your chapter director is to sign off on the tally sheet.. All tally sheets must be
submitted to MAP District Coordinator by December 15th with your check $5.00
per. Your check will be made out to the ILLINOIS DISTRICT MAP. ½ of the total
$$$ collected will be used for the price give away. There will be 3 individual
winners (high score on poker hand, 2nd highest and 3rd highest score). The chapter
with the most participants will also receive a $$ price. The more participants, the
higher the booty.
