The Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE) is a national,
professional, non-profit society registered under the societies
registration Act of 1860. First started in 1941 as the Association of Principals
Technical Institutions, It was Converted into “Indian Society for Technical
Education” in 1968 with a view to enlarging its activities and advancing the cause of
technological education . The major objective of the ISTE is to assist and contribute in the

Rules &
Regulations

General Instruction for Students

 Candidates shall abide by the Rules & Regulation enforced by XIBMS as well as those that may be issued by XIBMS
from time to time.
 False declaration of qualification by the candidate will disqualify his /her admission to XIBMS and XIBMS can take
appropriate penal action. For all penal and legal actions the court of law will be Bengaluru.
 Any change in name/address/contact details should be informed to XIBMS via mail at info@xibms.com
 It is the wholesome discretion of XIBMS to upgrade or modify the syllabus and contents of the course.
 If a student is found to have concealed any information or violates the rules of XIBMS, he/she shall be liable for
cancellation of his/her admission with XIBMS.
 XIBMS has the complete right to cancel any admission, if any false declaration of qualification is made by the
student or the qualification certificate submitted by the student are found to be fake or fraudulent.
 The student can discontinue his/her studies anytime during the year but the fees paid by him/her will not be refunded
in any case.

Change in Name for Students

 If the student wants to change his/her name after admission, he/she should obtain prescribed form from XIBMS, fill it
carefully and submit the same with the following documents:-
 A prescribed application form available at XIBMS website.
 A fee of `1000 (Requisite Fees) along with above documents.

Change in Address:
 If the student wants to change his/her address given at the time of admission, he/she should obtain prescribed
application from XIBMS, fill it carefully and submit the same

Examination:
 If the student fails in any subject he can re-appear for that particular subject by paying Rs. 500/- per each subject .
 If the student didnot submit the exam papers on time he/she has to pay 500 per each subject as the late charges

Re-valuation of Result
 If a student is not convinced with his/her results, he/she can apply for the re-valuation of the same on payment of
Rs.300/- per subject within 15 days of declaration of results.

Issue of Duplicate Certificate & Marksheets

 The student is requested to fill the form and submit the same with the requisite fees of Rs.1000/- for issuing
Duplicate Certificate & Marksheets.

Expiry of Course Tenure/re-registration charges

 After the expiry of the tenure of the program the student can request for consideration of re-registration to continue
and complete his course by paying the requisite fees, applicable by XIBMS.

Change in Specialization
 If the student is willing to change his/her specialization after the admission is done he/she has to pay Rs.5000/-
additional to update the new specialization.

Payment of Fee
 It is the responsibility of the student to pay his/ her fees within the deadline as communicated by XIBMS.
 The fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.

 Students can take admission by visiting the branch office with all required documents and the course fees can be
paid by Cash/Credit Card/Debit Card/Cheque or D.D.
 Student can send all the required documents and Application Form along with D.D or Cheque drawn in favour of
XAVIERS INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT STUDIES. Courier can be sent to the respective study centre or
to the Head Office postal address.

 Study Center Exam: Under this option student has to come to any of our
centers and appear for the exam. Student will be allotted 3 hours for each subject
and the type of exam would be Question & Answer.

Examination
Online Exams: This exam can be taken from any part of India/world wherein all
the question papers will be mailed to student's email ID and student will be given
stipulated time depending upon course to complete answers and send it back to us.

Home Based Exams: This is a very convenient method of taking exam and is
especially designed for working class professionals who need flexibility of time due
to their work schedule and travel schedule. The pattern of the exam is case study
based which is more relevant for working class professionals.

Results:

Students will receive the results on their email address with in 30days after the submission of
their answer papers.
Certification & Grading is based on percentage of marks scored by individual student.
Verification A+ - 75% and Above
A - 65% - 74%
B - 55% - 64%
C - 40% - 54%

Certification:
The Certificate and Marks Sheet is being processed after the results are declared. The
students can collect the Certificates from the branch office after 30days of results declaration.

Q. Do I need to refer any other books apart from the study Material provided by XIBMS?
A. Our recommendation is “NO”. The Course Material are very carefully selected on the
recommendation of a lead faculty. Thus it is sufficient for a particular Course.

Q. What if I am unable to complete my course with in the duration?

A.The course can be extended by paying the course extension charges. You can contact the study
center to know the charges based up on your course.

Q. How many specializations are offered by XIBMS?

Q. Can I go for an Extra Specialization?
A. Yes, You can opt for an extra specialization by paying Rs.5000/-.

Q. When will I get my results and certificates after writing the exams?
A. It will take 30 days to get results and then 15 days to get your certificates

Q. What happens if I fail?

A.The student can re-appear for the exam in which he failed by paying Rs.500/- per subject.

Q. I would like to apply for higher studies abroad; will I get Transcripts or Bonafide Letter from
XIBMS?
A. Yes, Transcripts and Bonafide letter can be provided on the request of the student. Rs.1000/- will be
charged per Transcript.

Q. What about Placements?

A. After completion of the course, Students are requested to send their updated C.V to
careers@xibms.com. Their profile will be shared with MNC’s and Placement Agencies in INDIA and
overseas.

Q. Do companies consider a Candidate who has finished MBA in distance mode for employment?
A. Employers do not discriminate against any candidate based on whether they have done MBA on
full-time or flexible learning mode. The past track record of the candidates as well as their experience
and soft skills are also considered by the employers for recruitment.

by the respective country's embassy.
