Abstract- Driving recklessly has been a common problem in Indian roads from the very beginning. There
lacks an advancement of technology in the automobile sector as comfort has gained an upper hand over safety.
Everyday we come across accidents as a consequence of automobile collision. As of now only a few of the high-
end vehicles have access to the collision detection and avoidance system which is far from reach of the masses
due to pecuniary issues. The technology used currently in high-end vehicles cannot control its peers approaching
from any direction and subsequently does not accomplish avoidance efficiently. This paper proposes a safety
system which functions as a secondary controller of the vehicles and automates the speed of every vehicle nearby
up to a certain range with the help of Xbee and Arduino Uno whenever collision is detected. The Controllers of
vehicles will be aware of each other's location and the speed through GPS. Consequently, the brakes of the
vehicle are coordinated or decelerated if there is any chance of imminent collision with any unforeseen vehicle.
The system is improved by means of machine learning.i.e, the vehicle can comprehend the behavior of the
driver’s reaction time and then implement the brakes only in inevitable circumstances.
