Freshman orientation? Now they’re not just a roommate, they’re your best friend. Students
at SUU know that this university is a place they can call home.

registration page! Plan ahead so you don’t have to fight fight fight for the classes you want.
Winnnnn by putting your mind to those classes and conquering them. Good luck to all you

intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true
education.” Develop your intelligence and character at SUU. Class registration opens this
week!

Step 2: Click on “registration” in the links section.
Step 3: Choose the “browse classes” option.
Step 4: Select “Spring 2019.”
Step 5: Plan your schedule and register.
5. SUU Sophomore, Jacob Nelson, says that “registration is time consuming and very
stressful.” Most college students would agree with him, but would also agree that planning
for registration and registering early eases that stress.

Institute directly after her graduation from SUU. Her story, as well as those of countless

2. If you’re registering as a Freshman this year, don’t forget to make an appointment with your
academic advisor for help knowing which classes to take, and for a code to open registration
options as soon as November 14.

3. Meet Molly. Molly is a Junior at Southern Utah University majoring in Graphic Design.
Though the work has been hard, she has persevered and is happy that this semester, she’ll be
registering as a Senior. Congratulations and good luck Molly!
4. Whether you’re a Freshman or a Senior, know your class standing so that you can register
for classes on time! Seniors with 90+ credits can begin registering on November 6. Juniors
with 60-89 credits can register on November 9. Sophomores with 30-59 credits can register
on November 12. Freshmen with 0-29 credits can begin registering on November 14. Good
luck!

5. Ask an ACE how to register for classes. Go by the Nest on campus for help with registering.

6. After logging into your portal, search by topic to find the classes you’re looking for!
