DETAILS FOR INCREASE:
This employee has been serving as Interim Parish Administrator. He is returning to his,
previous position of Risk Manager. However, based on his skills, experience and
understanding of issues and operations, itis in the best interest of the citizens and the
LPG for him to perform additional duties, over and above those assigned to the Risk
Manager.
Mr. Abadie, until reinstatement as Parish Administrator or further notice, has been
assigned and delegated the following additional duties pursuant to the authority of the
Parish President:
1) Director of Homeland Security, as required by Louisiana State Law;
2) Economic Development coordinator;
3) Liaison with the Parish Council;
4) Liaison with external governmental agencies and private stakeholders;
5) Contract negotiations
6) Contract review and analysis;
7) Legal analysis;
8) Review of Resolutions and Ordinances;
9) Investigation of sensitive complaints;
10)Strategic Planning;
11)Coordination and supervision of projects and personnel;
42)Such other executive level administrative duties and tasks as assigned by the
Parish President, and shall have such powers and perform such functions and
duties as may be prescribed by the Home Rule Charter or by ordinance or
delegated by the President.
