AWARD FOR BEST EMPLOYEE

The aim is to recognize and express appreciation to the employees by means of


predetermined criteria which shall be assessed by the Central Office PRAISE Committee through
interviews, on site visits and supportive documentation submitted by the respective Division.
The award hopes to inspire the rank and file employees to do their best in the performance of
their assigned duties and tasks and to promote the culture of pride in quality among them.

MECHANICS:

1. The award shall be given to any qualified employee who holds a permanent position.
2. The nominee must have at least completed six (6) rating periods upon nomination.
3. The Chief of Division shall endorse to the Central Office PRAISE Committee the name of
the employee who deserves the award.
4. The criteria for judging shall be:
a. Significant Contribution to the Division’s MFOs - 50%
b. Impact of Contribution to the Division - 30%
c. Notable Accomplishments Outside PPA - 20%
5. The awarding scheme shall be as follows:
a. All non-winning nominees shall receive a certificate of commendation.
b. The Third Best Employee shall receive a certificate of recognition and a cash prize
of two thousand pesos (P 2,000.00).
c. The Second Best Employee shall receive a certificate of recognition and a cash
prize of three thousand pesos (P 3,000.00).
d. The Best Employee of the Year shall receive a plaque of recognition and a cash
prize of five thousand pesos (P 5,000.00).
