Introduction
The type of cases covered by the district and session court is related to the judgement of complaints
like criminal dispute, civil disputes, divorce, disputes, traffic chalans, motor accident claims,
cheque bounce, etc.
Process of filing a case in the court:
Step 1
At first a notice is sent to the dealer or company by advocate with time limit of response.

Step 2
In case of no response from the company or the dealer a case is filed in the court.

Step 3
A notice is then sent from the court to the dealer or company through the court with a date.

Step 4:
After all these processes if there is no response then warrant is issued. Depending on the case either
bailable warrant or non bailable warrant is issued against the company or dealer.

Step 5:
Series of evidence are collected and the case discussion is done.

Step 6:
After the case is discussed different orders are made by the judge but only one single judgement
can be made.

A Talk with Adv. Chandra Prakash Rawal:

“I have dealt with cases related to cheque bounce under Section 138
Negotiable instruments act (NI act)” under consumer act.
