Dade County Bands

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This year’s DMS band banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the
DCHS Cafeteria. Our band banquet consists of food, student awards, celebration of
student achievements, and most importantly, FUN!. This event is NOT a required event for
students to attend, but we try to make it great time.

Any band students that wish to attend do not need to pay anything (the band boosters
cover the cost of their food). Each additional family member wishing to eat will need to pay
$5.00 per person. (If a family member wishes to attend and not eat, you owe nothing.)

We must have a head count no later than Tuesday, April 30th in order to make sure
enough food is ordered. If we do not receive a form and money by April 30th, no
food will be ordered for you! (You may still attend, but not eat.)

The menu for the banquet will be: Guthrie’s chicken strips, baked beans, potato salad,
drinks, and dessert.
