ROCHESTER SKYDIVERS

Offers the thrill of a lifetime. If you enjoy the excitement of a roller coaster ride, you will love
skydiving! The quiet solitude of a canopy ride may just be the ticket for you. At Rochester
Skydiving we offer 3 ways to enjoy this rapidly growing sport at a price that will pleasantly
surprise you. Listed below are the different methods we offer. Your choice - after all - it's your
time, thrill and money - it should be your choice! After your first jump you will receive a frame-
ready first jump certificate, and a skydiving logbook to record jumps. Caution:
Parachuting/Skydiving is not to be confused with an amusement park ride. There's training and
performance skills needed to participate.

Traditional Static Line (S/L) Jump Course begins by introducing you to the sport. We teach
you parachute safety, and how the equipment works. The classes continue by learning how to get
in and out of the airplane, controlling the parachute and how to land safely. After about 4 hours,
equipment will be provided for your first jump (weather permitting). An experienced jumpmaster
will bring you up to 3.000' and help you exit the airplane. The parachute will open automatically
in 2 to 3 seconds by the use of a static line. Once open, a ground controller will be in constant
contact by radio with you throughout your jump until you are safely on the ground. ($275, Need 3
or more per class) Offered the entire months of April and October and only the first two
weekends during the months of May* June-July-August-September. Call first if interested.

Tandem Jump Course on a parachute built for two is one of the easiest ways to experience
skydiving. The rider and an experienced licensed tandem master wearing a specially designed
harness that holds two people safely together will exit the airplane at 10,000 feet, both freefalling
35 seconds through space until the parachute opens at 4,500 ft. The rider experiences a gentle
descent while the tandem master and rider will bring the parachute to a precise landing. The pre-
jump instruction takes only about 45 minutes for the experience of a lifetime. ($225*). DVD of
your tandem jump $80 / $100 with stills. Tandem courses offered Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
and Sunday Mid-March through November.

Accelerated FreeFall Jump Course (AFF) is for the serious student who desires to continue in
the sport. The student is individually guided through the 8 levels of AFF with one or two
instructors who will exit together hanging onto the students harness and freefall from 11,000 feet
for 45 seconds where then the student will pull his/her own ripcord. The rapid learning curve will
bring the student to a level of expertise faster than any other method. ($725)* By special
appointment only (April thru September) $725 includes 5 to 6 hour AFF first jump course and
first 3 AFF jumps. Total cost to graduate our AFF program is $1,650/$1,850. There are special
guidelines to meet and follow for the AFF program. Call for details if interested. Video of AFF
jump $90 / $110 with stills
