WAYS TO MODIFY ACTIVITIES AND GAMES

Equipment: size, shape, weight, sound, speed, color.

Environment: volume, number of kids to the size of the space, distractions,


light, amount of space.

Time: length of the activity, time of day.

Instruction: offer visual, verbal, and tactile cues, using many and different
demonstrations, altering yours or the students’ positioning, rules.
