My students are using the Google Docs mobile application on their
individual cell phones or tablets to collaborate with their peers and
to respond to each other’s stories to make comments and
suggestions.

Activity The students will be logging into the application to
practice sentence structure. By the students using this
application, they are demonstrating the
understanding of the comparisons of vocabulary
words. The application provides the student to create
their own stories. When students log into the
application they must provide their date of birth with
the month, day and year. There is a wide selections of
books the students may use to create their stories.
This application teaches the students in an English
classroom about nouns, adjectives, verbs and etc. The
new swipe gestures makes creating stories faster and
easier for users. While using the application the
students have opened a story up, the type of
comparison the application is asking will appear. If
the student becomes lost, the student may swipe the
face above the comparison word being asked to the
right and a load of words they may use can be added
to the book asking for the word. Students must
complete the assignment to be able to read the
whole story. The application allows the students to
save stories and share with classmates. There’s an
option to play solo or with classmates. It’s bright, fun,
creative, and more engaging for educators to use.
This application also shows the students how a

Google docs is useful by providing services that allows the students
to collaborate with classmates. The students will be doing practice
on sentence structure. The teacher will show the students how to
login into Google docs application, and add classmates to their
document to have access. Once every student have successfully
login to Google docs, each student show check to see if they
received an email. This email will allow students to access others
documents and provide feedback as required. The teacher will
make sure each student knows how to access their collaborative
application on Google docs. The teacher will show the students
different templates that they may use and how to add a comment
to the document. Students are able to share their documents with
others and allow them to make comments and suggestion on the
document. Plus, multiple students may be working on that one
document all at the same time. Also, when a student makes a
comment on the document, it reads the student names and shows
the full comment and suggestion the student may have said. When
using the application, the students may have more than one
editing or commenting on the document. The different people
typing in the document changes the color of the tying so it
identifies who is writing what. By the using this application, they
may write their stories on the document and other classmates may
have access to the document. The students are asked to make
comments and suggestions on other’s stories. This will teach the
class on sentence structure and allowing them a bettering
understanding the assignment. They will be able to identify the
comparison of nouns, verbs, adjective and etc. Also, students
should be practicing sentence structure and to properly writing
them.
