Pantbangan is known as a Mountain Area, aside from Pantabangan as being Mountanous it is

also a good model for having a good and natural raw resources. The main ource of living here in
Pantabangan especially in Baranggay Liberty Pantbangan Nueva Ecija is fishing, no doubt from
a watery area, and a dam that is considers as the largest powerplants in the Philippines.

Aside from fishing some other sources of living

here in Pnatbangan is bamboo trading. Since
Pantabngan is known for its resources,
businessmen from lowlands are thrown interest to
this resources. Bamboo trading is considers illegal
but becomes legal when given consent by the
owners of the land. The bitter part is that the
mountains which I’ve seen as blue in far is now
turning as pure brown.

Logging is the another living of some

Pantabangenios. Some trees are cut for
the sake of furnitures. The saddest part is
that the cold temperature of Pantabangan
from before are now become hot because
the trees that helps in producing air are
now limited.

This is an actual image og “Pugon”.

Pugon is the another kind of living of the Pantabangenios. Pugon is consist of logs that is heated
with medium low heat, and after a three to four days the logs inside becomes a charcoal which is
repacked and sell to neighbor town. However logging is illegal so basically Pugon is illegal.
Pugon also releases an unwanted kind of gas that spreads to the whole area where this Pugon
was located. This was the reason why a lot of near areas are against of this Pugon system
because of its gas. This image of Pugon is an unfinished process because the citizen write a
proclamation against Pugon system.
