RE and Ethics project

Objectives:
Students in both classrooms should become aware of the religious diversity in the classroom
and that classes have the same approach to religions (making up your own opinion instead
of religious indoctrination)

Content: students of RE (Italy) and Ethics (Germany) introduce each other’s class and what they deal
with in classes
- in order to do so, a short film is produced in which the pupils talk in English about
themselves
- beginning: Short introduction of the whole course/class (age, teacher, subject,
classroom, something about their school, etc.)
- possible proceeding: the students are asked to form groups in class according to their
belief (also possible age, the same class, nationality) then the students introduce
what they think and why they have chosen this course.
- students report what they have dealt with in class so far

Timetable:
week 13.11.- 17.11.17 Introducing the class to the idea, Questioning: How do you
imagine a RE class in Italy/ ethics classes in Germany; planning
(writing texts)
week 20.11.- 24.11.7 Filming
week 27.11 - 1.12.17 possible adjustions
after that: upload on Onedrive, arranging exchange of comments between the two classes
(e-twinning, short film? )
week 11.12. – 15.12.17 showing the films to the classes, discussion, comments,
gathering of feedback in classes
