Dianne Flacks has worked under my supervision as a Risk Management Clerk for the past two
years. Throughout this time, Dianne has been an attentive and eager employee, and has been
able to apply her past experience to the practical claim and insurance matters that have presented
to the department.

Dianne is responsible for the clerical duties within the Risk management division, including
directing claim inquiries from the public and advising them on the status of their claim, opening
and closing claim files, processing claim related payments, and running reports on claims data.
She attends team meetings, and provides general clerical support for the Risk Management team.
I am impressed by Dianne’s participation in brainstorming sessions and the insights she provides,
even when the issue at hand does not directly relate to her job duties. Dianne shows initiative in
learning new computer programs and furthering her learning on existing programs to create
efficiencies. Dianne shows a genuine interest when working on new projects, provides valuable
analysis, and asks relevant questions to gain a fullsome understanding. She is a team player,
quick to learn, straightforward, and a logical thinker.

While Dianne’s professional skills are a valuable asset to the City, her personal skills are equally
appreciated. She has fostered positive relationships within the department, and she is an asset to
our team.
