Ethical Scenario

I personally do not agree with Anna’s decision. I feel it is an ethical situation but at the same time I don’t
feel it was ethical of Marie to put Anna in that situation. I feel that both parties could be extremely
affected by this. I feel Anna will take more repercussions because she is the one personally in charge of
the petty cash fund. In the end it wasn’t right of Marie to ask but over all Anna had to make the final
decision. So, Anna could get in a lot of trouble if the company ended up getting audited first thing in the
morning, the following day. Anna could honest loose her job and I don’t feel that it was right of her to
put herself in the position. If I were Anna I would have offered to go out and use my personal bank card
for Marie, to get her the medication she needed. I feel that would have been a wiser options verses
putting her entire job on the line by removing money from the petty cash fund.
