1 Objetivo
El objetivo de las presentes
especificaciones técnicas, es definir los
alcances técnicos que regirán para la
ejecución de los proyectos que la
Propiedad pretenda ejecutar.
Todos los Servicios de Topografías
comprendidas en este contrato, se
ejecutarán de acuerdo con el presente
documento y según las indicaciones del
personal de la Propiedad en sitio.
Las condiciones técnicas y operaciones a
realizar, que se indican en cada apartado,
NO tienen carácter limitativo, teniendo que
efectuar además de las indicadas, todas
aquellas que fueran necesarias para la
ejecución correcta del trabajo.
2 Alcance
Las correspondientes especificaciones
técnicas son válidas para todos los trabajos
de topografía en campo, el documento
describe los procesos técnicos mínimos por
los cuales se debe regir el contratista en
cuanto a topografía se refiere.

1 Objective
The objective of these technical
specifications is to define the technical
scopes that will rule the project execution
which the Property intends to execute.
All the services of Topographies included
in this contract will be executed in
agreement to this document and according
to the indications of the on site Property
staff.
The technical conditions and operations to
perform, indicated in each section, DO NOT
have limitative nature, having to perform
additionally all the necessary ones for the
correct execution of the work.
2 Scope
The appropriate technical specifications are
valid for all the works of topography in the
field, the document describes the minimum
technical processes for which the
contractor must rule in terms of topography.

4 Descripción de los requisitos. 4 Description of the requirements

A continuación se enuncian todos los
elementos principales que el contratista
deberá revisar, verificando y protocolizando
la información haciéndola trazable (ver
ERECL-QMS-INS-001 Instructivo
Trazabilidad). No obstante el siguiente
listado, el contratista deberá verificar todo
aquel elemento que de acuerdo a las
buenas prácticas de la construcción sea
necesario controlar o a petición de la
Propiedad sea necesario tener control

Hereunder are stated all the main elements
that the contractor must review, verifying
and drawing up protocols on the information
making it traceable (see ERECL-QMS-INS-
001 Instructive Traceability). In spite of the
following list, the contractor must verify all
the elements in agreement to the good
practices of construction necessary to
control or, under request of the Property, to
have the topographic control.

6 Entregas por parte del contratista.
Experiencia del Topógrafo. El topógrafo
que efectúe los trabajos en el área de
construcción deberá contar con un mínimo
de 5 años de experiencia en topografía de
terreno en proyectos similares. Un
Currículum Vitae detallando el nivel de
experiencia del topógrafo y evidencia de la
formación recibida, deberán ser presentado
a la Propiedad para su revisión y
aprobación por lo menos 15 días antes del
inicio de las actividades de topografía y
estacado.
Registros Topográficos. El Contratista
deberá utilizar los puntos de control
establecidos y presentados en los planos. A
medida que avance el trabajo, todos los
cambios subsecuentes al plan de control
topográfico deberán ser presentados a la
Propiedad.
Protocolo de seguridad: El personal de
topografía deberá seguir todas las
determinaciones legales referentes a
“Seguridad de Trabajo”. Además, en
trabajos de terreno, deberá respetar
estrictamente las normas HSE de la
Propiedad.
Protocolo ambiental: Todas las normas
ambientales chilenas deberán ser
estrictamente respetadas, así como las
disposiciones de la Declaración de Impacto
Ambiental (DIA) y la Resolución de
Calificación Ambiental (RCA) específicas
para el proyecto, las cuales se entregarán
al contratista. Nuevamente, se respetarán
las normas HSE de la Propiedad que se
refieran a temas ambientales.
Al cierre del Contrato se deberá presentar
un certificado y los planos “As-Built”
firmados por el Ingeniero responsable del
Contratista, declarando que las elevaciones

6 Deliveries by the contractor
Experience of the surveyor. The surveyor
performing the works in the area of
construction must have as a minimum 5
years of experience in topography of land in
similar projects. A curriculum vitae detailing
the level of experience of the surveyor and
proof of the training must be presented to
the Property for its review and approval at
least 15 days before the start of the
activities of topography and staking.
Topographic records. The Contractor must
use the established control points and
introduced in the layouts. As the works
advances, all the changes subsequent to
the topographic control plan must be
presented to the Property.
Safety Protocol: The topography staff must
follow all the legal determinations
concerning “Safety at Work”. Also, in the
work on-site, the HSE standards of the
property must be strictly respected.
Environmental Protocol: All the Chilean
Environmental Standards must be strictly
respected, as well as the availabilities of the
Environmental Impact Declaration (DIA in
Spanish) and the Environmental
Qualification Resolution (RCA in Spanish)
which are specific for the project and will be
delivered to the contractor. Again, the HSE
standards of the Property making reference
to environmental issues will be respected.
At the closure of the contract a certificate
and the drawings “As-Built” signed by the
responsible engineer of the Contractor,

7 Replanteo topográfico.
7.1 Generalidades
El Contratista deberá proporcionar todos
los materiales, equipos y personal
necesarios y requeridos para efectuar el
replanteo topográfico requerido para el
estacado y trazado de la Obra.
Los puntos indicados como puntos
topográficos de base, Bench Mark (BM),
serán monumentados por el Contratista y
forman parte de la red de triangulación del
Proyecto. Estos hitos serán identificados
cuando el contratista reciba el terreno por
parte de la Propiedad y servirán de
referencia para la ubicación de todas las
estructuras y controles topográficos del
Proyecto. El Contratista es responsable de
mantener estos hitos durante el periodo de
ejecución de las obras y en caso sea
necesario remover alguno(s) de ellos por
requerimiento de las obras, deberá
monumentar el(los) nuevo(s) que
reemplace el(los) hito(s) removido(s) y
comunicarlo a la Propiedad, entregando la
nueva información de coordenadas y
cota(s) correspondiente(s).

The contractor will introduce a general
schedule of the works to be performed
which will be submitted to the approval of
the Property. The Contractor must indicate
the meteorology adopted for the execution
of the works, including a Gantt Chart for
each activity, indicating the quantity and
characteristics of the equipment to be used
and including the list of technical staff
performing he topography works.
7 Topographic onsite layout
7.1 Generalities
The contractor must deliver all the
materials, equipment and necessary staff
requested to perform the topographic
onsite layout for the staking and Work
Traceability.
The points indicated as base topographic
points, Bench Mark (BM), will be set by the
Contractor and are part of the network
Project triangulation. These landmark will
be identified when the contractor receives
the site by the Property and will be of
reference for the location of all the
structures and the topographic controls of
the Project. The contractor is responsible to
keep these landmarks during the period of
work execution and if it is necessary to
remove some of them by request of the
works. The contractor must set the new
ones replacing the landmarks removed and
inform about it to the Property, delivering
the new coordinates information and the
appropriate heights.

El Contratista deberá efectuar todos los

de verificar la localización y elevación de los
puntos existentes de control, reestablecer
los controles de construcción mediante
estacas e hitos, efectuar las mediciones
para el pago del trabajo completado,
realizar los replanteos topográficos
necesarios para el estacado y trazado de
las área de construcción, y de restaurar
propiedades públicas y privadas que
fuesen afectadas, dañadas o reubicadas
por el Contratista.
El Contratista encargará los trabajos de
topografía a personas que, por su
capacidad y experiencia, tengan
calificaciones y conocimientos suficientes
para asegurar la correcta realización de
dichas tareas. Estas personas estarán
obligadas a facilitar a la Propiedad toda la
información que les sea requerida sobre la
materia. Todo replanteo y estacado deberá
ser realizado bajo la dirección de un
topógrafo que cuente con la experiencia
adecuada a este tipo de trabajos.
El Contratista será responsable de la
calidad de los trabajos topográficos y de las
actividades del personal encargado de
éstos, y de cualquier error de topografía
que resulte por desconocimiento de
información que deba solicitar a la
Propiedad, y de las implicaciones que dicho
error pueda tener en los costos del
Proyecto.
7.2 Control primario de replanteo 7.2

iniciar el trabajo en el sitio y deberá notificar

The Contractor must implement all the
topographic onsite layout of the Work with
the purpose to verify the location and the
elevation of the existing control points,
restore the construction control using
stakes and landmarks, perform
measurements for the completed work
payment, perform the necessary onsite
layout for the staking and tracing of the
construction area and restore the public
properties and private that were affected,
damaged or relocated for the Contractor.
The Contractor will order the topographic
Works to the people that, due to their
capacity and experience have qualifications
and knowledge enough to make sure about
the correct performance of those works.
They are obliged to release all the
information requested to the Property
according to the subject matter. Every
onsite layout and staking must be
performed under the management of a
topographer with the adequate experience
for these type of work.
The contractor will be responsible for the
topographic work quality and the activities
of the staff in charge of these, as well as
any topographic error from the lack of
information requested to the Property and
the implications that this error may have in
the Project cost.
Primary control of topographic
onsite layout
The contractor must be responsible to verify
the relative position of the reference
topographic points (BM) constituting the
primary control, before initiating the work on
site and must notify to the Property the
discrepancies which may be found among

una vez al mes como mínimo en una línea
base establecida y aprobada por la

cual estará disponible para la revisión de la
Propiedad, indicando la fecha y la distancia
medida en la línea base (ver también

MDE no será utilizado si no cumple con la
mínima precisión publicada por el
fabricante del mismo.
2) Los instrumentos defectuosos serán
reemplazados, reparados o ajustados
inmediatamente para operar dentro de la
tolerancia establecida por el fabricante del
instrumento (ver también ERECL-QMS-
INS-009 Instructivo control equipos de
medición).
Todo el trabajo que no se realice con los
métodos y equipos presentados por el
Contratista y aceptados por la Propiedad,
serán removidos de la obra y reemplazados
al costo del Contratista, ver ERECL-QMS-
PRC-003 No conformidades, como
referencia.
El Contratista presentará la información
topográfica en coordenadas topográficas
indicando norte, este y cota sobre el nivel
del mar según el sistema UTM-WGS 84.
7.5 Hitos, estacas y marcas
Las marcas topográficas que se fijarán en
la roca o en muros sólidos serán de acero
inoxidable o de hierro fundido y se
colocarán a suficiente profundidad para
garantizar su rigidez. En los suelos blandos,
las marcas se harán en platinas de acero

1). The electronic distance measurement
instruments (MDE) used by the Contractor
in the Work site will be reviewed for its
calibration once per month as a minimum in
a base line established and approved by
the Property. The results of the calibration
will be written down in a book of records
which will be available for the Property
review indicating the date and distance
measured in the base line (see also
ERECL-QMS-INS-009 Instructive Control
for measurement equipment). An MDE
device will not be used if it does not comply
with the minimum precision published by
the manufacturer.
2) The faulty instruments will be replaced,
repaired or adjusted immediately to operate
in the value ranges established by the
manufacturer of the instrument (see also
ERECL-QMS-INS-009 Instructive control
measurement equipment).
All the work which has not been performed
with the methods and equipment presented
by the Contractor and accepted by the
Property will be removed from the work and
replaced to the cost of the Contractor, see
ERECL-QMS-PRC-003. There are
