India’s government system

India, country that occupies the greater part of South
Asia.And is known as the largest democratic region.
It is a constitutional republic consisting of 29 states,
and new delhi as the capital of the country.
What type of government does india have?
❏ India is a parliamentary democratic republic
where the President of India is the Head of State
and the Prime Minister of India is is responsible
for running the federal government.

❏ Its government is divided into 3 branches: the


legislative, the executive, and the judicial.

● Indian democracy gives citizens the ability to influence laws and
policies through the election of representatives.

● It ensures basic human rights & freedom. It is a system which gives


power to each and every citizen.

● Opposition party has official existence in the government

● Federal government and the state government are independent but


at the same time, they help each other and share their work.
