In our journey as missionaries, we meet Kim teaching Indonesian
unsung heroes who inspire & humble us safe house workers.
with their perseverance & dedication in
their ministries. We also see the imprint
of our Father’s grace in each of their
lives. They may seem insignificant to the
world but they are greatly impacting
the people they work with. Without
exception, we met numerous unsung
heroes during our recent mission trip to Indonesia

We had the privilege to train ministry
facilitators from an organization
founded by a dental surgeon &
focused on North India, Pakistan,
Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, &
Myanmar. He & all his co-workers are
not salaried. As volunteers, they either
raise their own funds or work in the
marketplace. Many of them use part of
their annual leave or sacrifice their pay
to make periodic visits to their places of
ministry. In the words of the founder, "In
spite of fewer churches supporting us
now, God is faithfully supplying & His
work is expanding." They are seeing the
fruit of their labor as locals from the
places they minister in rise up to take
ownership of the ministry to share the
gospel & plant churches.

It was refreshing catching up with two
pastor friends who were once at the
threshold of death. Our Father healed
them miraculously & they are now
demonstrating how to live a life well
lived—whether ministering to cancer
patients or pastoring low income,
marginalized people while studying for
a doctoral degree.

Ronnie to be the Tour Representative
for the Decision America Tour in
Tacoma, WA. His responsibility was to
mobilize local churches within a 25-
mile radius & enlist prayer counselors.
In June ’18, he proposed to Xinhang
whom he has known since 2015. They
met while she was working in Seattle
after completing her MS in Human
Centered Design & Engineering at the
University of Washington. She also works
as a UX designer in Beijing. They will be
getting married on Sep 21, 2019 in
Seattle. Welcome Xinhang!
