PLC News
Professional Learning Community News:

Our second PLC Meeting was held Wednesday, November 21 at


Woodland Cellars Winery in Hubbard, OH. Again, instructors from
Sterling and Broadway campuses came together to share their in-
structional ideas and enthusiasm for the opportunity to meet with
other educators.

We used this time to discuss such topics as textbooks, creating a


presence when teaching, our best practices, what’s happening in our What’s Happening ?
classrooms, and what our needs are in our classrooms.
December/January
When it comes to our courses’ textbooks, some of the costs seem to
be quite exuberant. While we all agreed that textbooks are necessary Dec.12 Student Christmas Party

The NY Times 10 Best Books of 2018

Christmas break is upon us, and if you’re looking for a


good read, check out the NY Times book review of the
best fiction and non-fiction titles of this year.
Oct. 21st-Oct. 27th was Respiratory
. Care week, students were able to
give back to the community at St.
Joe’s at the Mall and the Shenango
Valley Senior Center.
The Respiratory program went to

to perform Lung Health Screen-
ings, Vital Signs, and provided Edu-
cation on Disease Processes and
Medications.
