X AIR Mixer Firmware Release Notes

Update: X AIR Mixer Firmware V 1.07 for X18/XR18

The X AIR Firmware Update includes new features and performance enhancements to your
X AIR mixer's operating system. BEHRINGER is constantly adding new features and making
enhancements to this extremely stable operating system, so that you always experience the best
possible performance from your X AIR Mixer. Check out behringer.com for updates regularly.

Instructions:
The remote application X AIR EDIT (PC) as of version 0.5beta can be used for updating your X AIR
mixer's firmware. Download and unpack the X18 firmware update file from behringer.com, and
connect your PC with your X AIR mixer in the same (wired or wireless) network. Then open the
X AIR EDIT Setup/connection page and select your X AIR mixer from the list box. The current firmware
version installed on your mixer will be displayed right below the list box. Click on 'Update FW', select
the file X18_firmware_1.07.update and click on 'Open'.

Note: Firmware 1.07 for X18/XR18 works with X AIR EDIT V0.5beta on Windows 7 or higher
personal computers, preferably in wired or infrastructure networks, and with X AIR for
iPad (iOS 6 or higher) or X AIR for Android (4.0 or higher) in wireless networking modes.

RTA overlay with peak/RMS and decay adjustment
Auto-Timing feature (envelope control) for Compressor/Expander
Auto-Mixing algorithm for speech/conferencing
New local snapshot memory included in X AIR mixers (up to 64 complete scenes)
MIDI control for local snapshot recall

Communication supports X AIR EDIT (PC) remote application
Vintage compressors' FX return values adjusted
