LEARNING EXPERIENCES

The group virtue of Compassion is composed of 37 members and a

leader. We came from one section BEED IB from the College of

Teacher Education. We learned the values of:

 Teamwork- we may not have the chance to win in every activities

that we join in NSTP LTS class, we surely know that we did our

best together. And that is already something to be proud of. This

class taught us to listen into each other’s side and to work

together as a team.

 Optimism- as a team we learn to be hopeful in everything we do

throughout our journey in NSTP LTS class, especially when we see

other groups who are way better than us. Generosity will always

smile and laugh and would say “Kakayanin guys!”

 Respect- In our group this the most important values that we

learned. We do not have the same perspective and view since we

came from different places that has different cultures and

traditions that would mainly affect our decisions, but despite of the

difference we can still work together for we respect each other.

 Resourcefulness- Every NSTP LTS class, there will always be a

group work which are unannounced. Thus, it only means we are

not prepared to enter the jungle. But, Generosity would always

find a way out. Look around the place and boom, there you have

it.

And we thank the NSTP LTS CLASS OF 2018 for helping us find the

values that was actually sleeping within us. Long live NSTP LTS 2018!

OVER ALL IMPRESSION

The first time we walk in the gymnasium last June 2018, to attend

the Orientation for the NSTP class we immediately made an

assumption of what could be the outcome of the said orientation. We

all thought that we are going to do the usual wherein students are

tasked to get dust pan and brooms to clean the school, or even go to

the shore and do coastal cleaning. Because it is what do elderly would

say regarding the said subject.

Literacy Training Service, we actually don’t know what this subject

will be all about but we already think that since we are from the

College of Teacher Education, maybe here we will be taught on how to

teach or what to teach especially those who are street children and

illiterate ones.

We learned a lot from this class-- NSTP LTS and we thank our

facilitator Sir Joebert P. Alberto for all the gained knowledge and

virtues learned and awakened in us. It’s been a tough struggle in

handling such a large group but he made it possible and without any

hesitations.

NSTP-LTS class may end but we will forever remember the

experiences and learning's that we gained. We will miss those days

wherein we have to be early at any cost or our name will be listed as

late, those days wherein we just sit in the covered court and
participate to the class discussion. We will those days wherein

everyone is on the rush in passing the attendance sheet in order to be

the first to go home. It was fun and unforgettable and it is all thanks

to our awesome facilatator.

Thank you so much Sir Joebert!
