What Will Be Graded in CAPSTN:

● Scope and Implementation Complexity

o Each game's aspects will not have equal weights of complexity. This will vary from genre
to genre. For example, an action game will have the programming to have its most
complex aspect while a visual novel will have the design and the arts as its most complex
aspects. This will be put into consideration when the game is evaluated.
o Lessons from Game Design, Game Art, and Game Programming have been applied or
taken a step further by applying more advanced techniques that have not been taught
in the mentioned subject series. . The game can't be done without a few years of game
development experience.. Only 10% or less of the actual project source came from
external assets or libraries. All team members have been 100% utilized based on their
assigned roles.
● Documentation
o The document thoroughly explains what the project is all about. All sources are properly
cited according to APA style
● Polish & Stability
o Game only has minor or negligible bugs. No blockers. Theme is cohesive and artifacts
are well crafted.
● Presentation & Marketing Collaterals
o The merchandise clearly describe the game. Logo is immediately recognizable, following
design principles (interesting and unique, clearly identifiable without having to be
explained, can be printed in different sizes, look good in black and white etc.). Branding
is evident.

We hereby agree that all guidelines written in this document are clearly understood and that we will
comply with the requirements as a registered team for this term’s CAPSTN program.
