LYCEUM OF THE PHILIPPINES UNIVERSITY CAVITE

Specific Objectives:

 To identify the Black spot sites or road crash prone areas along Governor’s Drive,

Cavite by using Classic Statistical Method.

 To determine the factors, in terms of road environment condition, that contribute

road crashes.

 To propose mitigating measures or improvements along Governor’s Drive for

relatively high-risk locations through Road Inventory Survey.

The detailed information of road crash investigation reports played an important

role for this research study. From those reports, the researchers could determine the

number of road crashes in every section that will be used for black spot mapping of the

study area. The Road Inventory Survey was done after plotting and ranking the black

spots.
