Stem cells are ‘Master Cells’. The raw material

from which all of the Body mature, differentiated
cells are made. They give rise to brain cells, nerve
cells, heart cells, pancreatic cells, etc. It was
discovered in the year 1968

banking, as they find it expensive for the patients,
cannot trust the technology used for storage
purpose, and some of them also feel that it is still
undergoing research stage.
 33.33% of doctors recommend Cryobanks

 36% of doctors feel, the awareness about stem cell
banking can be increased by conducting seminars.
 FINDINGS…
According to
Prospect Customers

 31% of the total numbers of prospect customers are

aware of stem cell banking but out of that 45% of the
prospect customers do not opt for stem cell banking
because they find it expensive, do not trust the
storage technology and feel that it is still undergoing
research.
 40% of total number of prospect customers use the
services of Cryobanks International India Ltd.
 RECOMMENDATIONS & SUGGESTIONS…

 Reaching out to target customers through Advertising,

conducting Seminars, and placing their representatives
in various hospitals for directly counseling the prospect
customers.
 Awareness building of stem cell banking can be mainly
done my spreading the success stories of stem cell
banking among the prospect customers because many
of them feel that stem cell banking is still undergoing
research.
 LIMITATIONS…

 Analysis done, is on the presumption that the information

collected from the respondent is true and correct.
 Due to the nature of some questions, the respondents
were reluctant to part with certain information.
 Non-cooperation shown by certain prospect customers
and doctors.
 Cannot be said that the data taken for the study is fully
adequate to get the desired or accurate result.
 Data was collected from the prescribed areas of Pune
City which may not represent the true picture of country
as a whole.
