selections. If you continue pressing Font through a second pass, the
font selections will be locked.

3 Setup Press to enter Setup mode. Lets you change the default values and modes of printer
operation.
4 Micro Feeds the paper downward in small incremental movements. Press and hold to select
down continuous feed.
5 Pitch Sets the character pitch to: 10 cpi, 12 cpi, 15 cpi, 17 cpi, 20 cpi, or proportional spacing
Notes:
• On 2590/2591 models, you can also select 24 cpi.
• Fast Draft supports only 10, 12, and 15 pitch.
6 Micro Feeds the paper upward in small incremental movements. Press and hold to select
up continuous feed.
7 Set TOF Sets the Top-Of-Form, which is the position of the first print line on the page

This the recommended way to push continuous paper through the Impact Printer.
There also other style to feed the paper through this machine, we will only handle in this Training the
recommended way of feeding paper through the Printer
Before we start:
Every setting in the printer needs to be set! Very important when the customer is using continuous paper
(Endlospapier).
General Questions:
How many Lines per Page can be printed on continuous paper?
How many Lines per inch?
Calculations / Berechnungen
Inch = Zoll
Lines per inch = in General this set to 6 (wieviele Linien per Zoll kann der Drucker drucken)
Lines per inch can also be changed by the user (default is 6)
Example:
Length = 30,3 cm
Width = 35,4 cm
Inch = 2,54 cm
LPI = 6 lines per Inch
