Understanding your results

Admitted – You’ve been offered a place in the course/programme.

Reserve – You’ve been placed on a waiting list for the course/programme. The university will contact you if a place
should become available.

Deleted – You haven’t been offered a place in the course/programme for one of the following reasons: you were
admitted to a programme that you ranked higher and those with a lower ranking have been deleted (you can only
be admitted to one Master’s programme); you did not fulfil the entry requirements for the course/programme.

Appeals

The right to appeal is restricted to decisions regarding general and specific entry requirements; the selection results
as such cannot be appealed. The appeal must be made in writing. Instructions for your appeal can be found at
Universityadmissions.se at the following link: www.universityadmissions.se/en/appeals.

The best way to submit your appeal is by scanning your documents and uploading them on
Universityadmissions.se. You can find instructions under the ‘Documents’ tab when you log in to your account.
You can also submit your appeal by regular post to Appeals, University Admissions in Sweden, R 312, SE-106 53
Stockholm, Sweden.

Please note: letters of appeal concerning the following universities should be addressed to the vice-chancellor of
the university: Chalmers University of Technology, Ersta Sköndal Bräcke University College, Stockholm School of
Economics, Jönköping University, The Red Cross University College of Nursing, Sophiahemmet University College,
Johannelund School of Theology and University College Stockholm.

Your appeal must have reached University Admissions in Sweden no later than three weeks after your receipt
of this notification. The university to which you appeal will re-assess your eligibility. If the university concerned
chooses not to change its decision, your appeal will be forwarded to the appeals authority for a final decision.

If you are a non-EU citizen required to pay tuition fees, you will receive an invoice in April. The deadline for
payment of the first instalment of the tuition fee is 20 May 2019. If the payment of the tuition fee instalment
has not reached Lund University on time, you will lose your study place. Please see more information

To commence your studies, you need to follow any directions from your department in order to register. If
no information has reached you by two weeks before the semester starts, please contact the programme
