Title of Project: Wrapping of Palleted Cement bags using stretch film

Work Methodology

1. Preparation of Wrapping machine.

a. Unloading of wrapping machine using forklift.
b. Travelling and positioning of wrapping machine to designated area.
2. Tapping of wrapping machine to the power supply
(done by HOLCIM electrical personnel)

3. Position the palleted cement bags on the turntable of the machine using forklift
4. Insert the stretch film at the lower most part of the palleted cement bags.

5. Push the start button on so the turntable will turn, wrapping the palleted cement
bags
( turntable well then turn clockwise and the stretch film will wrap the palleted
cement bags from the bottom to the top and back to the bottom while the stretch
film holder goes up and then down with the aid of the height sensor which will
then automatically stop once it reach the lowest starting level)
6. Upon reaching the lowest starting level of the stretch film cradle and before the
turntable will fully stop the operator will then cut the stretch film with his bare
hands (by doing so, it will maintain the tension and tightness of the wrapping
film.) and then insert the end of the cut stretch film at the corner of the wrapped
file.

7. Untie the lifting slings and position it at the top of the wrapped file and fasten it
with the provision tie to keep the lifting slings in place.
8. The forklift will then take the wrapped palleted cement bags, and is ready to be
loaded to trucks and/or for stocking.
